Gaelic football is the main sport played in Scoil Bhríde, Croghan. The school participates in the Cumann na mBunscol competition. The school has been very successful in the competition for many years. We have won the competition in the years 1987, 1988, 1996, 2004, 2011, 2012 and 2013. The school has a strong link with the local G.A.A. club St. Brigid's. The school is very lucky to have access to the super facilities available in St. Brigid's G.A.A.. As well as that the school has its own pitch where training is held at lunchtimes.
Cumann na mBunscol Final 2016
We were delighted to reach the final of the Cumann na mBunscol competition this year. The boys and girls gave it their all but unfortunately came up just short on the day. However, they really enjoyed the experience and it was great to play in O' Connor Park.
